The Fez-Meknes Civil Society Council is a body that represents the link between official institutions and the local community, and aims to enhance community participation and develop relationships between various social actors. The Council works to activate the developmental role of civil society by involving citizens and non-governmental organizations in the decision-making process, and following up on the implementation of public policies that affect their lives

Activity Description:

👶 Working with children – Organizing educational workshops, recreational activities, or providing support to children in orphanages.

🏡 Building and renovating homes – Contributing to improving homes or public facilities for low-income families.

🎭 Participating in cultural events – Organizing festivals or art workshops, or providing voluntary art performances for the community.

👩‍🏫 Education and academic empowerment – ​​Organizing reinforcement classes or educational workshops for children and youth in various fields such as mathematics, language, or science, as well as providing academic guidance to individuals in need of assistance.

🏘️ Supporting needy families – Organizing campaigns to distribute clothes, furniture, or household supplies to low-income families, or providing support in the form of in-kind assistance during religious occasions or seasons.

💻 Teaching digital skills – Providing workshops to teach computer and internet skills to children or the elderly, which helps them interact with technology better and develop their digital skills.

🏞️ Environmental awareness campaigns - Organizing awareness workshops for children and youth on the importance of preserving the environment, such as collecting waste, planting trees, or cleaning public places, thus enhancing their sense of responsibility towards nature

. 🧑‍⚖️ Youth leadership and citizenship training - Organizing workshops to teach youth leadership and good citizenship skills, and developing their spirit of initiative and responsibility, which enhances their active participation in society.
